Sweet skirts for a sweet girl

My hubby's friend at work recently had a sweet baby girl. My hubby rarely asks me to sew anything, but he asked me to sew something for his friend's new baby girl.

I'm a little bit embarrassed to say, that it took me a long time (4 months to be exact!) to get around to his request.

I finally had a spare hour and I whipped these two sweet skirts up using this tutorial. I also managed to make a simple draw string bag to put the skirts in.

I just adore skirts...for me... and for little baby girls!
