I'm a sucker...

for all holidays. Having 2 little girls... you have to be!

I got into the full spirit of Valentine's day and joined a few Valentine swaps out there in blog land. All cards mailed out had to be hand made. I made the majority of my cards, but I couldn't resist buying a few off Etsy as well.

I purchased this sweet love cookie from my sister in law's etsy shop. I think they are just the sweetest things!



It's also been a busy week around here...I am in the middle of making a few things for Zoe to give to her classmates. Hopefully I can share those soon.

We also took the girls on a "mini road trip" to visit their cousins in Portland. I will have some photos to share tomorrow.

Fab Find Friday

My fab find for this Friday comes from Sass & Peril. I was on the hunt for the PERFECT wrist pin cushion. Something cute, something small, and something functional.

I stumbled upon Shannon's Etsy shop and immediately fell in love with all her uber cute handmade goodies. She didn't have any wrist pin cushions for sale, but I sent her a convo. She responded right away and told me she would be more than happy to whip one up for me. She might just be the nicest seller on Etsy!

It came yesterday and I adore it! It has not left my wrist since.

Go visit her shop and tell her I sent you! You will definitely not be dissapointed!

Shoes!

I quickly whipped up these shoes last night just to see if I liked the pattern. I am not entirely happy with them, I may have to revamp it here and there before I can add them to the shop.

On another note it's also my 2 month etsy-versary and I just hit 30 sales! WOOHOO!

Fab Find Friday

I am going to start something called "Fab Find Friday''. Every Friday I am going to feature a fabulous handmade (or anything associated with handmade!) find here.

My first fab find are these Wrist Cuff Wallets from Mary Zoom. These wrist cuffs are great, if you are running, walking or cycling, you are able to tuck a car key and some cash/credit cards inside the cuff, put it on your wrist and go!

The ''Your very own Family'' is my fave. It's custom made, just pick your family members and your colours and you're good to go!

I saved the best for last: all items in Mary Zoom's shop are sustainable! This particular fab find is made from leftover scraps of 100% cotton natural unbleached recycled t-shirts.

The girls (mainly Zoe since Pia isn't really talking yet) have been asking us for a playhouse. We found one for a great price and bought it for them. They love it!!

Speaking of wants... I have been eyeing these for a while now, and I told myself when I got my first sale on Etsy, I would be allowed to buy them. I don't know if I was more excited over my first sale or the fact that I could finally purchase them!

They arrived yesterday, and I LOVE them! They are so comfy and of course uber cute!
