quality time at tar-gey

The girls and I had a date with my mom yesterday. We decided to head south and go shopping in the states. My mom wanted to check out Ross and I wanted to go to Target and check out the Liberty of London line.

The line debuted last Sunday, so I was hoping it wouldn't be slim pickings. I was so bummed when I totally missed out on the Orla Kiely line last year.

To my delight, they still had quite a few things to choose from. I picked up this wallet (it's my new favorite thing!) Of course I had to pick up one of their floral print scarves!

I also managed to snag a few items for my new craft room:
LOVE this pillow!

Some milk crates to house my yarn, sewing patterns etc.

There were also some items on my list, that I didn't get a chance to buy because some other lucky people snatched them up before I was able to.
This pastry stand... I was hoping to use this in my craft room to hold sewing notions.

This lamp and chair. But alas, none were to be found.

I was also hoping to purchase a watering can and some gardening gloves. But all the gardening items are so sold out I can't even find a picture on the Target site to show you.

All in all, it was a great day. I love spending time with my mom and so do my girls.

Thanks Mom!

Tar-gey is like a guilty pleasure. It's dangerous in there. You go to buy pull ups and diapers and wham -- they've got you buying all sorts of things I may not necessarily put in the "need" column!

btw - Enjoying your blog.

I made sure to stop by Target (twice in fact) during the weekend of the Liberty of London Launch, and picked up several of those wonderful storage bins, a scarf, and the large platter. I was seriously crushing on one of the bikes, but they're not available in my local stores, sadly. But I feel so lucky to have snatched up what I did!

Oh how I love the Liberty of London line. I got the square milk crate the other day and absolutely LOVE it. I think that pattern is my fave- so bright and cheery. I love that wallet too and saw one, but that will have to wait for another day!! :)
