a new favorite

I was over at my in-law's house the other day, and my mother-in-law made me her favorite childhood drink.

It's fresh avocado, milk and water, with lots and lots of ice.

It's my new favorite thing.

Don't you love finding new favorite things?

And if you haven't had a chance yet, hop on over to The Creative Place where Ashley has featured me and my little corner of blog land.

Happy Friday Everyone!

Sounds yummy! I love any drink with avocados. Try blending 1 avocado, bananas, milk, and some sugar. So yummy!

Mmmm I love avocados... On way I eat them is in bite size chunks in a bowl of milk + a couple spoonfuls of SUGAR! Hee hee. That's how my grandma made it for me when I was younger. :) oh, I'm craving some now!

OMG! I Love that drink too!! we have a very, very similar drink from my home country. We usually add a teaspoon or two sweetened condensed milk to the drink. It's SO good!!!

Oh that makes me very happy that you tried it! I'm glad you liked it!!! You can barely taste the avocados huh?! Mainly bananas.

I love avocados. I've never tried it in drink form, but if you love it that much... I'm definitely going to have to try it. Is it still chunky?

Thanks for your comment about my bracelet!

That sounds quite delicious. I have been able to try some different fruits while in the amazon, one being aguaje, it tastes just like avocado! but it's smaller, covered in scales-like things and it's way hard to eat. But they make ice cream out of it.... It's delicious. Who would have thought avocado and aguaje would taste so good cold? Not me.

p.s. I opened my giveaway to Canadian residents just because you asked :) thanks for asking! I should've done it in the first place!

This drink sounds so wildly interesting. I love each of those ingredients on their own, but I would never have dreamed of combining them together. Very cool!
