happy birthday...

to the brassiere!

Ladies, did you know that the bra turns 100 this year?

The past one hundred years we've seen many versions of the bra come and go, from the under wire to the push up to the strapless to the gel bra. We've seen them made from lace, cotton, micro-fiber and silk. It's been renamed everything from the miracle bra to the wonder bra.

But one thing remains the same: every women's never-ending quest to find the perfect bra.

Have you found yours?

Ha ha ha! I love that you wrote a post about bras.
Did not realize this year was their hundredth birthday, but I'm just glad they exist, you know? Useful things, those bras.
And I don't know if I've found The Perfect Bra yet, but mine are all really small so it's not a big issue, if ya know what I mean. Usually just something relatively cute and comfy, at T J Maxx or somewhere like that, with plenty of selections.
I love the advertising for these bras! Ha ha so funny :)

love the name "perma-lift" if only it was true. I love my CK nude T-strap, it's comfy and no matter how shear the shirt, it seems to work. I do have to admit it is far from my husband's fav.

Happy Birthday Bra! I did find the perfect bra. Everyone should have a good bra. It makes a difference. TRUST ME! Bras are supposed to fit a certain way and if you have a good one, you'll get the support you need and never be saggy again! I love my Chantelle Intimates! Seriously, your clothes will look better.

Thank goodness for this invention :D. In the U.K if you go to M&S you can book appointments to have bra fittings. I went to my first one a couple of weeks ago and it was so informative as there was tonnes I didn't know what to look for when shopping. I came away with the 'prefect bras' as they make sure you leave with the right one.
