"a-tisket a-tasket..

a brown and yellow basket..."

Just because I can't seem to find the perfect bike (within budget!) doesn't mean I can't start looking for the perfect accessories.

First on my list... a cute basket of course!!!

Next on my list: those little plastic doodads that go on the spokes... what the heck are they called anyway??

I've been thinking that I need a bike, too! Especially now that it's summer . . . seems like perfect timing. :)

Those baskets are cute, just like Dorothy's bike in the Wizard of Oz!

I totally want a bike, but I'm afraid it will seal the fate of my poor car permanently being parked in the driveway and not the garage. We already have a ton of bikes, big and small, strollers, surf boards, etc. and it's getting awfully cramped in there -- I don't think it can take one more bike.

I've also thought about whether I want a front basket or a back basket. I think one on the back would allow me to transport groceries, but the front basket is so cute!

my dream bike has a basket, with a whole salmon, a baguette, a bottle of wine, and fresh flowers in it.. sometimes life is all about the accessories. :]

The doodads are called spoke beads! I bought a whole bunch through a bike company in the states (Niagara Bike or something like that) when I was raising money for the Ride to Conquer Cancer (I wrote donors names on each bead). BUT I later discovered you may get a better deal on amazon. FYI...I spent more on shipping then on the actual spoke beads. :)

Love that 3rd basket with the handle. I can see it in my kitchen instead of a bike!
