Mmmmmm Gelato! YUM. Our gelato place used to be located 40minutes away from where I live too.. except now there's one (same company) just down the road... yay for Gelato days! My fav flavor is Gianduja (chocolate hazelnut), what's yours?!

Oh, my dear - you're one after my own heart. I've driven oven an hour to get cider doughnuts, nearly two to eat at one of the yummiest restaurants I've ever been to. The things we do for delicious food. I hope you had one there and then one for the road.

Looking at the expressions of the girls, it was worth that 40 minutes drive to get there :). Since last year we've ended up quite a few ice-cream places here but before that I'd only got one from a van which doesn't have the same different flavours.
I bet that 40 min drive is a happy one! I sure would get giddy during the ride that will take me to yumy gelato!

We are big time gelato fans too. We have a favorite one that's about 40 minutes away but thankfully there's one nearby that's a close second. Yummm. I can never get enough of coconut gelato.

ahh i love gelato!! so worth the drive. luckily (or unfortunately - hard to say), a gelato shop just opened up only minutes from our house!
