cardigan coveting and a funny story

the weather has gone through a dramatic change
in my little corner of the world

gone are my flip flops and summer dresses
back are my leggings and cardigans

i happen to be a little bit of a cardigan addict
but it never hurts to add a few more at the start
of each new season right?

here are a few that i covet at the moment

so, over the weekend my hubby
went to seattle with a few guy friends of his to
take in a baseball game.

naturally my first reaction to his little weekend getaway down south was:
oh! he can go to my fave store for me
so, i printed up a list of the things that i wanted (including item descriptions and prices)

sometime during friday afternoon, i can hear my cell phone
ringing and ringing and ringing

i madly dash for it (of course thinking there is some sort of emergency)
but it's only my hubby

the first thing he says is: "I can't find the tank top!"
in the background i can hear him riffling through the racks of clothing

i say to him: "it's white with flowers across the top."
he replies: " i see one with some sort of layer on the top and i see another one with a
design down the front..."
(more frantic riffling of the racks)

apparently by this time he is getting a few "looks" from
the female customers in the store

feeling sorry for him i say: 'it's ok, forget about the tank top, just make sure you get me the bag!"

which he did!

isn't he the sweetest?

I love the first cardigan you posted there! I'm such a cardigan lover myself, and in the fall I like wearing longer cardigans to wear with leggings :)

You definitely have a devoted husband who was willing to shop at Anthropologie for you! Hurray for the purse - it's gorgeous!

Its true you can never have enough cardigans as you always find that a couple won't last until the following year.

Well you've already told us how fantastic your husband is and this proves it even more. He is simply great, my husband would have such a tantrum and the thing still wouldn't get done... never mind!

It's definitely cardigan weather here too -- which is weird because I'm in San Diego where it's supposed to be warm. And your husband is SO sweet for venturing into Anthropologie on his own to shop for you. You definitely married a good guy.
