that broke out in my home town last night
after our vancouver canucks lost to the boston bruins
in game 7 of the stanley cup playoffs
i am sorry to say, but yesterday i was embarrassed to be a vancouverite
and i can honestly say that is the first time i have ever felt that
please pray for my city and for all those who were injured last night
especially those police officers, fire fighters and other emergency response teams
who risked their lives to stop the rioting.

You were downtown yesterday? I hope you guys are ok. it was a double heartache to have lost the game and rioters destroying the city. we pray for healing for both the players and the city. the riot doesn't define vancouverites. this is made by the people who have nothing but hate in their hearts. GOOD hearts will eventually prevail soon and reclaim the city.

Thats so sad all because of a lost game so many lives have been put into danger. I've experienced two riots here but in those cases nobody knew what the fight was about.. the 2nd time all photographed involved were jailed.
