weekend snapshots

this past weekend was filled with

a trip to a local dutch pancake house
the pannekoek my hub's ordered was bigger than his head!

fall has officially arrived
the leaves are falling and changing colours

it was thanksgiving in my little corner of the world
and i was in charge of the turkey
we gathered as a family
ate off my mom's fancy china, ate too much,
laughed a lot and were very thankful for each other
and my little sis made the most delicious pumpkin cheesecake

what was your weekend filled with?

Happy Thanksgiving! We had our dinner tonight, and had a great time! Even though I worked Saturday, I was able to enjoy a lazy Sunday off. It was fantastic!!

p.s. I'm host a scarf swap on the blog! Hope you'll join!

How fun! So I'm assuming that's Canadian Thanksgiving right? You are so lucky. I'm dying for some turkey, mashed potatoes, and creamed corn right about now. Your cute daughters smile cracks me up =)
