an afternoon date

husband and i were lucky enough to sneak in an afternoon date over the weekend
i can't even remember the last time we had an opportunity to go on a date
life just gets so busy sometimes

the sun was shining and our date afternoon
was the perfect opportunity to wear my new polka dot dress and fuschia tights

we had lunch at the rumpus room which boasted using only
organic and local ingredients in their food

food was delicious but atmosphere left a lot to be desired
(for me at least)
i felt like i was eating in someone's basement
that very much needed an update and a good scrub

there is vintage and then there is vintage
this folks, was not vintage... hee hee

we (as in me) did a wee bit o' shopping at my favorite store
and then we hit up our favorite bubble tea joint on the way home

it was only a few hours to ourselves, but that's all that we really needed
life just gets so busy for us sometimes that
date nights (or afternoons) get pushed to the wayside
but really setting aside time with your significant other is just as important
as paying your bills or buying groceries

there has been a lot going on in my little corner of the world and lots of changes
i will be going back to school for the next few months (that deserves a whole post on it's own)
so i have decided that i will only be posting once a week either on mondays or fridays
i just love blogging too much to stop all together

hope you guys will still find the time to visit this little space of mine

happy monday friends!

Whatever you bring to her, it will be the best way to court a girl by being sincere about your feelings.
