mommy, mama, mom, mother

my mommy day was low key and no fuss--just the way i wanted
i was showered with homemade cards, flowers, macaroni bracelets
woke up to a spic and span house, laundry was done and folded
and was the proud recipient of my very own rosemary and basil herb pot,
which zoe grew in her grade one class

life has most definitely changed after having babies
it's chaotic, tiring and the days blur into each other

but you know what? it really, truly is all worth it
whoever said
"being a mother is being willing to have a part of your heart go walking around outside of you"
really knew what they were talking about

happy mom, mama, mommy, nanay, nana, mother's day
hope you had a special one

So happy you had a great mommy's day! I can relate to your feelings on being a mom, it's the hardest and the most rewarding job in the whole world. You are a great mom! The girls adore you so much! Xo

Beautiful pictures, your girls are so cute. And that herb pot, so great idea they had in school to do it :)
