sisters

i come from a family of all girls ( i know... my poor dad!)

i am the oldest of three girls

i am so lucky to have two sisters because 

that means i also have two best friends

i talk to my sisters everyday

no joke. 

it's very, very rare that a day will pass

that i have not spoken to either of them

most conversations are only a few minutes long

and lately we have really been into texting (hee hee)

my baby sister got married two weeks ago

she was so lucky in love to have found

a man that will love her and treasure her the way that she should be

and just a few days ago

my middle sister's boyfriend

got down on one knee in front of my parents

and asked my sister to be his wife

daughters, sisters, bestfriends

 and now wives

first day

zoe & pia started school last tuesday

zoe is in grade 2 (!)

and pia is in kindergarten (!)

it's become a little tradition to take first day of school photos

and once their first full week of school was officially over 

i asked each of the girls a few questions

zoe:

what is your favorite subject in school?

science and art

what do you like most about school?

playing with my friends and learning how to read

what do you like least about school?

getting hot and sweaty after i run around the field

what do you like most about your teacher?

she is nice to me

pia:

what is your favorite subject in school?

coloring and playing

what do you like most about school?

playing with my friends

what do you like least about school?

the bathroom

what do you like most about your teacher?

she is pretty 

i thought their answers were pretty hilarious

though i was worried about pia's answer for what she liked least in school

the bathroom? apparently she takes after me and dislikes

public bathrooms!

it's been pretty exhausting trying to get back

into the groove of back to school

i really do miss the lazy days of summer

but i can't lie..

fall is one of my favorite seasons...

are you hanging onto the last days of summer

or welcoming fall with open arms?

baby sis officially became a mrs. over the weekend

the wedding was exactly the way she wanted

she looked stunning and her mr. was looking quite spiffy too

and i was so proud of myself

i managed to hold back and not "ugly cry"
