weekend snapshot

ok, i am cheating a little with my weekend snapshot

since this snapshot wasn't taken this past weekend but the weekend before last

my sister and her fiance (still not use to saying it!)

went to new york

and while there took advantage of some local talent 

and got a few engagement shots done

i can't wait to see the rest!

hello 2011

happy 2011!

the year has started off just wonderfully!!

a few days ago, we went to my parents' house for dinner

nothing out of the ordinary really

except for the fact that my baby seester and her boyfriend

announced their engagement!!!

i am absolutely giddy with excitement

they are high school sweethearts and were made for each other

the wedding is still a little ways away (1 year and 9 months to be exact!)
since my sister has gone back to school to obtain her masters degree

but that hasn't stopped me from day dreaming and

scouring the internet for ideas...

the one thing she has decided on are her colours:

yellow and light grey...

it's almost like she read my mind!
