smile

Today I smiled because...

my hubby told me I was beautiful
my sister saw a dress I had been coveting go on sale and bought it for me
my mom took the girls for the night so that I could blissfully sleep in

What made you smile today?

Awww, what a good day. My 9 am appointment was pushed back to 11 so I get to slowly sip my coffee and enjoy the morning. See, I'm smiling from ear to ear.

What an awesome sister...and hubby, but that goes without saying. I'm smiling today because I reconnected with a high school best friend last night and it was like no time had gone by at all :)

You always need to hear that you're beautiful don't you :) Sounds like some really lovely things that made you smile. I love the small things because we sometimes forget how important they are.

What made me smile...knowing my first meal in our slow cooker turned out great!xx

Beautiful thoughts. What made me smile [sort of] today was seeing my hubby deliver a eulogy for his grandma. He hasn't cried since he was about 12 years old, but during his speech he got emotional talking about all their memories. Bittersweet, but sweet to see how much he loved her.

awwww this post is soo meaningful and sweet! it's the little things in life that make life soo great! what made me smile today?? the fact that when we went to dinner at a restaurant we've never been to before, the friendly waiter kept patting my husband on the back like they were old buddies even though they didn't even know each other haha! we had a really great laugh about it after we left the restaurant but we will definitely be back there b/c the food + service was excellent! =)

How have I never seen your blog before? My goodness, you have such a cute little world over here! Love your post about the bows.(No, you are never ever too old to wear one. ;]) And so happy to know I'm not the only one who watches re-runs of SATC, seriously. I think I've seen every single one at least twice. <3 <3

They're such little words, but they're so important to hear. It's amazing what a sweet compliment can do for us. I have a friend who makes it a point to compliment complete strangers, and they love it. I'm working on being so bold myself.

That's so sweet of your sister. My sister always does little random things like that for me as well. We're very close and I love her very much!

Hope you have a blessed week ahead. x
