TOMS was founded on a simple premise: For every pair you purchase, TOMS will donate a pair of shoes to a child in need. One for one.
I first heard of these incredible shoes last summer. For some reason Canada is always one step behind everyone else. So, TOMS didn't make an appearance in my neck of the woods until just a few months ago.
Of course I had to purchase a pair. I bought my first pair over the weekend. It's hard not to, every pair is absolutely adorable and of course each pair purchased means another pair will be donated to a child in need.
I chose the navy pair and have been wearing them every day since I got them.
I wear them with leggings, skirts and dresses. They go with everything!

I've wanted a pair of Toms for quite some time now... I'm not sure if I want one that's more versatile or one with a fun print! Have you seen the silver ones?? Those are awesome. :) How are you doing girlie?! Hope all is well in your neck of the woods... today was HOT!

awwww i have been wanting toms for awhile now! the flats look soo comfy and their new wedges look very cute too! you know, i never knew that they would donate a pair to someone in need, that is such a great cause! now you've really got me wanting to buy a pair!!
I don't own them, but a little pair of red ones would be fun.
I wouldn't say Canada is "behind." Your lower crime rates, a healthcare system that seems to work better than ours, etc., make some of us over here pretty envious...

i have TOMS in three colors (classic navy is my fave!), and i love them! to be able to wear shoes like this without socks and still be incredibly comfortable is too good for words.

I need to get myself a pair. I see so many people wearing them in San Diego and they just look so comfortable. And the best part is definitely that when you buy one, a pair goes to a child who needs them. I love that so much.
this is the first i've heard about toms...hummm..i should have gotten a pair to wear on this road trip that i am on. i'm sure they would have been great to walk around NYC in!

i already have 2 pairs and am currently on the way to needing a 3rd because i am getting a hole in one shoe in ecuador right now! so obsessed :)
