ok, this post is coming a little late.. but better late than never is what i say!
so, i am trying to find a little balance in my life
being a full time mommy and a full time wifey
is a lot of work
throw in some wedding planning
cooking, cleaning, volunteering
and i am pretty much left with no down time
so i decided that things needed to change
i needed to find some balance in my life
i want to sit and read a book
i want to spend a quiet evening sewing
or go for a walk with my girls
or watch a movie with my hubby
one thing that i decided to change was the amount
of time i spent on the net
blogging, surfing etc
you know how it is...
one can easily spend a good few hours just reading
blog after blog after blog
or surfing etsy (guilty!)
so i have decided that i will still continue to read all
of your blogs ( i have made some wonderful friends via bloggyland and don't want to lose touch! )
but i may not comment on every post
and i have also decided that i will update my blog once on week on fridays
i know that it may seem small and insignificant... but baby steps right?
p.s. if you are wondering about the picture, i do realize that it has nothing
to do with my post.... but i think it's hilarious and just wanted to share it with you all!

I am in the SAME spot! I recently decided to only blog once (maybe twice) a week to spend more time with my family and do the things that are important to me. Kuddos to you, happy to know someone else is going through the same things as me!
love that pic too!
Oh I hope you're able to get that balance! Having that quiet time and family time is so important :) Looking forward to your weekly updates!
Balance is so important. Being a mother and wife comes first. You shouldn't need to comment on every single post people write, just the ones that you really have something to say to. And when it comes to blogging, do what you can. I think once a week is a perfect start. {xoxo}
ITs important to try and balancing all, and slowing down the blog is a far better choice than to stop completely! Looking forward to your weekly posts!
Balancing your time is the hardest thing to do! I've been having the same troubles lately! It's so exhausting because you want to do it all right?! ahah. I love your blog and will wait patiently for any posts you have coming!! ♥♥♥♥
i am right there with you! the last few months of 2010 i pretty much went M.I.A from blog world except only to post my daily project365. enjoy and cherish every moment with your girls...they grow up so quickly and you can't get that time back. we'll be here for your weekly friday posts!
blessings to you friend!
Balance is such a good thing - better still that you're able to acknowledge it. Whether it's every Friday or every other week, I look forward to reading your posts!
i know what you mean! i'm in the same boat. i'm sure i'll be posting less after baby is born... i think fridays are great. your posts make me smile, specially pia's photo!
Good move! I don't have as much time to blog as I would like, so I just log on whenever. I think my readers have come to expect a certain haphazardness! But remember why you started blogging in the first place: because it's fun. As soon as it becomes a hassle, or feels like a committment, take a step back and re-focus. I read so many people apologising madly for not being online for, like, two days, and I think "So what? You have a real life too!"
Enjoy your You Time, it's way more important than blogging :)
amen! i have been having a challenging time finding balance as well. i think that's a great step, i'm just glad you're not leaving blog world altogether cause we would miss you. hope you are able to have some more down time in the near future :) you need it, we all do.
