this past weekend was filled with
lots and lots of broccoli cheese soup and grilled cheese sandwiches
we got a little obsessed with this sandwich and soup combo
and ate it three times this weekend!
the girls and my hubs decorated our front yard with
friendly hallowe'en decor
(the only kind of hallowe'en decor that zoe will allow)
i have been addicted to life cereal
brought my minnetonkas out of storage
and wore them all weekend
enjoyed some super delicious vietnamese cuisine
the weather was just gorgeous this weekend
the girls were able to spend some time outside
hubs and i celebrated our 16th anniversary of when we
officially became a couple!
(yes we still celebrate that anniversary)
we dropped the girls off with my parents overnight
went to church, rented a movie
and enjoyed a yummy brunch the next morning
we wrapped up the weekend with our dear friend's baby shower
they are expecting their third baby girl!
they are expecting their third baby girl!
yummy food, good conversation and fun games
and yes, that last picture is exactly what you are thinking it is! haha!
what was your weekend filled with?

Haha I love that it's "friendyly" Halloween decor. We are kinda the same way. We LOVE Halloween, but try to focus more on the Fall-ish stuff than the scary stuff. Especially since the life size Freddie Cougar practically damage my child for life in Party City lol.
Um and that is the best baby shower game ever!!!!!

fuuun weekend!
i love minnetonka's, too! vietnamese cuisine is so delicious!
i think it's so sweet how you two still celebrate that anniversary <3
I spent some time with a good friend this weekend. It's been some time since I saw here and it was wonderful. Grilled cheese sandwiches and waffles are so autumn in my book -- I may need to toss some of those into my week. Have a great one, my dear!
Okay, that Vietnamese food looks delish. It's A.M. here and I could still go for that right now...
love broccoli cheese soup. have you posted the recipe online? if not, do share : ).
