padded headboard inspiration

When we bought our home 4 years ago, I had a binder chocke-full of decor ideas, pictures and inspirations (yes, I know... I truly am a nerd.)

Each room in our home was decorated with utmost care and love.

We were so happy when we bought the master bedroom nightstands and wardrobe. They were a great deal and SO beautiful too! We didn't purchase the matching bed frame because I told my hubby: ''I want to make our headboard.... just wait... it will be nicest headboard you have ever laid your eyes on!''

Ummmm... that was close to 4 years ago and we still have those beautiful nightstands and wardrobe but no headboard.

But I have made a promise to myself: I will no longer sleep in a headboardless bed!!!!

baby shower inspiration

My sister-in-law and brother-in-law will be blessed with their first baby this coming June. My other sister-in-law will be hosting the baby shower and has put me in charge of the games.

What fun! I love baby showers. I also take any task (whether it be big or small) assigned to me very seriously. So, even though the shower is not for another few weeks, I have already begun scouring the internet for some fun baby shower games.

I came across these oh so lovely baby showers during my research.

WOW! isn't that just amazing?! It makes me want to have another baby just so I can have a shower just like that.

(p.s. to my dear hubby: you can pick your jaw off the floor... I was just joking!!)
