I smiled because...

A few days ago, I bought Pia a little yellow rubber duck. It has yet to leave her side. She sleeps with it, bathes with it and even eats with it.

My hubby drove to two different stores at 11 o'clock at night to buy me Ovaltine because I had run out.

I smiled because....

At the park yesterday, I saw a dad (who was at least 6 feet tall) squeeze himself onto a child sized swing and then put his one year old daughter on his lap, so that she could "swing" on the swings just like the other kids.

Pia woke me up with a big kiss

Zoe said to me "Mommy, when I grow up I want to be just like you."

my hubby told me I was beautiful

my sister saw a dress I had been coveting go on sale and bought it for me

my mom took the girls for the night so that I could blissfully sleep in

I woke up this morning with my little Pia's arms hugging me.

My hubby came home with my favorite tea latte.

Zoe told me that she wants to grow up so she can cook for me.
